Shiro Nakamura

Hailing from Tokyo, Japan, Shiro Nakamura had become one of all time greats in car design. When Carlos Ghosn became the lead at Nissan, he convinced Nakamura to join the Nissan team, and as a result, the crossover (one of Shiro’s pioneering designs) became a common product in America. Identifiable units Nakamura created are the Juke, Rogue, and Murano; all strong sellers for the Japanese motor company. Taking a risk on the crossover was what gave Shiro a name in the industry, but he has contributed much in value over his time with Nissan, and his role as the chief creative officer (currently twelve years).
