C2 and C3

Unlike early models, the C2 and C3 models were designed to feature much more impressive specs. The 1963 Sting Ray featured an aesthetically pleasing 'split-window' design. Corvette was able to perform at racing standards with the arrival of upgraded performance grade equipment. The C3 model went on to collect an impressive Corvette sales record and refined with new fiberglass and modifications to the engine, the C3 stunned and dazzled its audience. Part of the largest hype around the vehicle was the presence of an AM/FM radio.
